![]() ![]() Change the "Put the computer to sleep" value to "Never".On the left hand menu, select "Change when the computer sleeps".You can also just edit your current power plan: To prevent sleep while CSAM is scanning, just select the "High performance" plan. The third one can be made visible by clicking "Show additional plans". Two are always visible, but the third one is often hidden. Set the amount of time your computer or display should wait before going to sleep: Drag the Computer sleep and Display sleep sliders. See Schedule your Mac desktop computer to turn on or off. ![]() ![]() On the Power Options control panel you can also create a second power plan configured this way. Set your Mac to go to sleep and wake up at a specific time: Click Schedule in the bottom-right corner, then select the options you want to use. Power Options control panel: Start button > Control Panel > Hardware and Sound > Power Options While performing an on-demand scan on your computer, it may be necessary to adjust the power options to prevent the computer from automatically going to sleep mode after being idle for some time.
